Configure PPP Instructions

Configure your Computer for NU-Telecom Dial-Up Service

1. Go to the Apple Menu and choose Control Panels
2. Open TCP/IP
3. For Connect via: choose PPP
4. For Configure: choose Using PPP Server
5. For Name Server Adds.: enter 66.60.193.8
6. For Search Domains: enter newulmtel.net
7. Close this window by clicking on the square in the top left corner. When prompted to save changes, choose SAVE
8. Go to the Apple Menu and choose Control Panels
9. This time find and open Remote Access
10. Make sure Registered User is chosen
11. Enter your username and password. Your user name is just the first part of your e-mail address. Do not include "@newulmtel.net". Make sure both the username and password are in all lowercase letters
12. Enter the appropriate access number:
    New Ulm:  233-4235
    Springfield:  723-7235
    Sanborn:  648-7235
    Redwood Falls:  627-4119
    Aurelia:  434-0600
    Hutchinson: 234-6062
    Litchfield: 693-6877
    Buffalo Lake: 833-1100
    Glencoe: 864-2761
    Winsted: 485-7413
    Cokato: 286-6454
     
13. Close this window by clicking on the square on the top left. When prompted to save changes, choose SAVE
14. Enjoy the Internet!
