Free PPP Dial-Up Instructions

Configure your Computer for NU-Telecom Dial-Up Service

1. Go to the telephone icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen
2. Choose Open FreePPP Setup
3. Click on the Accounts tab
4. Click the Edit button
5. Click on the Account tab and enter New Ulm Telecom as your server name
6. Enter the appropriate access number:
   New Ulm:  233-4235
   Springfield:  723-7235
   Sanborn:  648-7235
   Redwood Falls:  627-4119
   Aurelia:  434-0600
   Hutchinson: 234-6062
   Litchfield: 693-6877
   Buffalo Lake: 833-1100
   Glencoe: 864-2761
   Winsted: 485-7413
   Cokato: 286-6454
    
7. Enter the correct username and password for your Internet account
8. Click OK
9. Close the FreePPP set up window
10. You must see the section on how to configure your MacTCP and/or TCP/IP before attempting to connect
