Eudora Instructions

 

  1. Open up Eudora mail.  Once opened, go to the top menu bar and choose Tools

  2. From the Tools menu, select Personalities

  3. Under the name of the mail account on the left, right-click on the
    NU-Telecom Account and then left-click on Properties

  4. On the Generic Properties tab, type in the following information:

    Real Name:  Your real name (if you want to be identified)
    Return Address: Type your e-mail address here
    Login Name:  Enter your full email address
    SMTP Server: 
    smtp.newulmtel.net (New Ulm, Springfield, Redwood Falls & Aurelia customers)
    smtp.hutchtel.net (Hutchinson and Litchfield customers)
    Put a check mark in the Authentication allowed box
    Secure Sockets when Sending:  Select If Available, STARTTLS from the drop down
     

  5. Click the Incoming Mail tab

  6. Type in the following information:

    Server: 
    pop3.newulmtel.net (New Ulm, Sprinfield, Redwood Falls & Aurelia customers)
    pop3.hutchtel.net (Hutchinson and Litchfield customers)
    Configuration:  Put a dot in POP
    Authentication Style:  Put a dot in Passwords
    Secure Sockets when Receiving:  Select If Available, STARTTLS from the drop down
     

  7. Click OK
