Netscape Instructions

 

  1. Open up your Netscape mail

  2. Click on Edit and select Preferences

  3. Highlight Mail Servers on the left-hand side of the screen under the Mail heading

  4. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type in the following:
    smtp.newulmtel.net (New Ulm, Springfield, Redwood Falls & Aurelia customers)
    smtp.hutchtel.net (Hutchinson and Litchfield customers)

  5. In the Outgoing mail server user name box, type in your complete email address.

  6. In the Incoming Mail Servers heading, click to highlight mail.newulmtel.net or mail.hutchtel.net depending on your location

  7. Click Edit

  8. Under the General tab, in the Server Name field, type in the following: 
    pop3.newulmtel.net (New Ulm, Sprinfield, Redwood Falls & Aurelia customers)
    pop3.hutchtel.net (Hutchinson and Litchfield customers) 
    In the User Name field, type in your full email address

  9. Put a check mark in the Remember Password box

  10. Click OK on every screen until you have exited out into Netscape mail
