What is the difference between Residential and Business service?

Residential service is furnished to an individual of family in their residence where the service will be used solely by the customer or family members for personal, domestic or social purposes.

Business service is furnished for customer use in any premise regularly used in whole or in part for any business, trade or professional use.  Telephone numbers used in business advertisements will classify that number as a business telephone regardless of the location of the instrument.  Numbers that are listed in the Yellow Pages are required to be business lines.
