What is DSL?

Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is a service that offers a faster Internet connection than a standard dial-up connection.  DSL allows simultaneous transmission of dialed voice calls and high-speed data over the existing phone line.  DSL is an "always on" Internet connection for easier access.
