How do I apply for telephone service discounts?

Telephone Service Discounts
NU-Telecom is authorized to provide two federally-funded and one state-funded telephone service discount programs that were designed to promote universal service by providing low-income individuals with new telephone service installations and monthly service discounts.

Complete details about the Link-Up, Lifeline and Telephone Assistance Plan (TAP) programs are available online from the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission or call NU-Telecom at 888-873-6853.

If you qualify for these programs, please complete the Minnesota Telephone Service Discount Application and return it to your local NU-Telecom office.
