Speed Call 8 Instructions

For local or long distance numbers that you call a lot, program the number to completely dial when you enter just a one or two digit code. Very handy for emergency numbers, families with young children, or calling those folks you love to chat with!

Program up to 8 phone numbers. For the ability to program 30 numbers, see Speed Call 30.

To Program or Change Your Speed Calling List:

1. Listen for dial tone.

2. Dial *74. (On rotary phones, dial 7-4 and wait four seconds.)

3. Listen for dial tone

4. Dial one of the eight 1-digit speed codes (2 through 9).

5. Dial the number you wish to program, remembering 1 and area code if long distance.

6. Press the # button. (On rotary phones, skip this step and wait four seconds.)

7. Listen for 2 beeps, which indicate your number has been entered, and hang up.

To Use Your Speed Call 8:

1. Listen for dial tone.

2. Dial the desired one-digit code (2 through 9).

3. Press the # button. (On rotary phones, skip this step and wait four seconds.) Your call will be automatically dialed.
